Steve Dietrich
Steve Dietrich received his BS in Integrated Management from UCLA and MBA in Finance from Harvard University. For most of his career he has been involved in the development of large commercial real estate projects; directly for several firms and his own consulting firm, FRG. In addition to major development firms, his clients included major banks, institutional users and investors, and public sector including LAUSD. On many of the major projects he was the team lead for project programming, budgeting, MEP systems and structure. As a Guest Lecturer he created and taught the UCLA Graduate Business School’s course in Entrepreneurial Real Estate Development. He moved to Mesa Oaks in 1991. As a private citizen he initiated a successful effort to redirect the ground lease re-negotiations between the County of Los Angeles and the Marina Del Rey ground lessees. He holds a commercial pilot rating and serves on the Lompoc Airport Commission. Semi-retired, he looks forward to helping the District with its current operations and imminent growth.
